1. In the lettered L, is the 8.5 the distance from the top to the base of the letter, or to the inside edge of the leg of the letter? Does the + in +2 signify something? What about the dashed line? All these questions are because I was attempting to determine if the letter was unambiguously defined based on the numbers and circles in the image, and unless I am missing the significance of one or more of the elements in my second and third questions, I believe the letter is not well defined. The thickness of the leg can move and the rest of the values remain constant. If 8.5 is the distance to the inside edge, then only the angle of the right-side outer edge changes. If 8.5 is the distance to the base, then only the angle of the right-side inner edge changes. Either the entire letter, or just the big circle, move up and down as the base changes thickness, as far as I can tell, but no lines will be crossed, no dimensions invalidated, as you change that thickness.
